The
Primate's World Relief and Development Fund
(Huron Hunger Fund)
A portion of every Cantors concert and 100% (every penny) of proceeds
from Three Cantors' CD's benefits PWRDF/HHF.
The Huron Hunger Fund is Huron's name for The Primate's World Relief
and Development Fund, one of most important ways that Canadian Anglicans
put their money where their faith is, bearing witness to God's compassion
to the world.
In the last 50 years, PWRDF has raised millions of dollars to relieve
human suffering. Working with partners at home and around the world
to support sustainable development, PWRDF helps people help themselves
by in hunger, conflict, epidemic or natural disaster, and serves beyond
those emergencies to bring greater justice with lasting solutions through
advocacy, education and material help.
Much of HHF/PWRDF's work is done by volunteers. And Anglicans cooperate
with sister churches to seek matching funds from CIDA to make your donation
go as far as possible, directly to places of greatest need.
